Grasshopper, synonym of destruction, fear and terror for the farmers, do not leave nothing green in her passage when it is moved in swarms! In the photograph a male grasshopper! -Ακρίδα, συνώνυμο της καταστροφής, φόβος και τρόμος για τους αγρότες, δεν αφήνει τίποτε πράσινο στο πέρασμά της όταν μετακινείται σε σμήνη! Όμως ψηλά στην τροφική αλυσίδα πολλών πτηνών και ερπετών! Στην φωτογραφία μια αρσενική ακρίδα !

Fantastic photo of this cute little guy. I remember at home on the farm in the 60's getting eaten out by swarms of grasshoppers - in a week they had eaten everything green in sight.

Grasshoppers are indeed a menace when flying in huge numbers ... but when seen alone as this one is they are pretty cute!

I have never like grasshoppers they are strange looking and can cause a lot of damage to farmers for sure. Nice capture, how did you get him to hold still
