Arbutus unedo - Κουμαριά

-I am glad, because in my region it is marvellous weather.
The temperature today touched upon 24th Celsius (73,40 Fahrenheit)!
This they are very good for my bees. They thus gather honey from arbutus; they will have bigger reserves for the winter!
Fruits of arbutus unedo!

Bees remove the humidity from the nectar of flowers arbutus and creating honey!

Oh my goodness, you have a wonderful blog. I became aware the problems facing bees and other pollinators recently and it is very scary. How wonderful that you are able to keep bees and take these wonderful photos. Wonderful nature blog that I will be back to visit often!!!!

I love the fruits of Arbutus unedo... and clear that their bees also must love them, as well as the excellent temperatures in your region...

We have Arbutus here in Washington State too. It only grows in well drained soils where the ice sheets dredged the earth near the waters edge. However, it does grow better in California where it is truly warm like where you are in Greece. I like your blog. I'll be back to visit.
